A family-owned grocery chain in the Northeast operating for over 80 years, had been experiencing sales declines over the past several years.  The marketing model during that time was a purely promotional strategy – near constant price/item messaging with little communication to reinforce any kind of quality message.  Our challenge was to establish that Price Chopper was not just a place for great prices, but for great quality at great prices.
