Carvel was not hitting its sales goals for about two years running when we partnered with them. Our focus was to drive sales for their higher margin, specialty cakes (about 50% of company sales) and sold for birthday and seasonal/holiday events (including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation, Valentines Day, Easter, etc.). For the first time in 2 years, Carvel saw dramatic increases in comp sales from season to season.
